About Me

Azmat Habibullah

I'm a Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman, a developer and a weightlifter.

At Oliver Wyman, I help clients in making strategic decisions and developing long-term plans for their business. I've worked on a variety of projects since joining the firm, including developing a probability-of-default model for a Central Asian bank, developing a technology roadmap for a leading UK bank and assessing the Risk function of a leading multinational insurer.

Before joining Oliver Wyman, I studied MSci Maths at Imperial College London, specialising in theoretical physics. My master's project was on the dynamics of spinor Bose-Einstein condensates (check it out here!). I was also Head of Imperial College Charity Week and President of IC Barbell, the university weightlifting society.

In my spare time, I'm a competitive weightlifter, having previously competed in powerlifting competitions. I'm a classically-trained guitarist, and enjoy playing percussive fingerstyle and in bands. I'm also interested in learning languages, currently focusing on getting to CEFR B2 in Russian and B1 in French.
